**Pike County Chamber of Commerce Hosted 1st Annual Vendors Market for Small Business Saturday**
Milford, PA – The Pike County Chamber of Commerce was excited to announce the 1st Annual Vendors Market in celebration of Small Business Saturday on November 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This special event took place in the Tom Quick Inn’s Signature Room, 411 Broad Street, Milford.
The Vendors Market, organized by the Women in Business Committee, provided an incredible opportunity for local small businesses to showcase and sell their unique products just in time for holiday gift shopping. Attendees discovered a diverse range of goods, perfect for finding that special gift for loved ones.
As part of the event, a prize was awarded for the best vendor display, with this year’s winner being Earthly Treasures, proudly located in the Historic Upper Mill.
"We were thrilled to support our local small businesses and foster a sense of community during this festive season," said Cynthia DeFebo, 2nd Vice President of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce and the Women in Business Committee Chair. Pike County Chamber of Commerce Fire & Ice Snowball Gala
December 11, 2024 – The Pike County Chamber of Commerce will bring the first ever Snowball Gala to Pike County. The Snowball Gala will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, 5 – 9pm, at Skytop Lodge and is a formal black-tie event. Enjoy a fun evening of networking, dinner, dancing and silent auction to support The Davis R. Chant Fund for the Arts at Greater Pike Community Foundation. "The Pike County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the inaugural Snowball Gala, a celebration of community and the arts," said Jennifer Passenti, President of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce. "This elegant evening at Skytop Lodge will not only bring people together for a night of joy, networking, and entertainment but also support the incredible work of The Davis R. Chant Fund for the Arts, ensuring that Pike County’s cultural vibrancy continues to thrive for generations to come."
The Davis R. Chant Fund was created to continue the giving legacy of Davis R. Chant and Chant Realtors, which includes support for festivals in Milford, PA, including, but not limited to Black Bear Film Festival, Milford Music Festival, Milford DanceFest, Milford Readers & Writers Festival, and Opera! Pike! Park! “Greater Pike is thrilled to be supporting the inaugural Snowball Gala,” said Executive Director Rick Little. Tamara Chant, Speaking on behalf of The Chant Family, “We are delighted and looking forward to the first annual Snow ball, at Skytop Lodge! And which honors the Davis R Chant Fund for the Arts. Dave, absolutely adored the Kansas City Snow Ball, that he attended every year with Judy Chant . He always returned telling his friends and colleagues, that this would be an exciting, and top-notch giving event for the area.”
Dinner is included in the $125 price per ticket for the event and sponsorships are still available. The theme of the event is: Fire & Ice. To help build momentum for the next steps we are asking for donations that include gift cards, overnight stays, area services or gift basket for the silent auction to help support The Davis R. Chant Fund for the Arts, please drop off at the Milford Community House. The Pike County Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with the Davis R, Chant Fund for the Arts to help raise money for the Fund.
