FALL FOLIAGE DELAWARE RIVER TOURS

A splendid array of autumn colors will be available to participants during Kittatinny Canoes’ Fall Foliage tours on scheduled Sunday’s, in the month of October. Nature’s technicolor palette is first displayed on surrounding mountains and shorelines and is then mirrored on the crystal clear Delaware River surface. Participants will meet at 9:00 a.m. at a designated Kittatinny River base and then be transported upstream to begin this autumn adventure. A river guide will accompany the group to ensure participants see all there is to see.
The river valley is abundant with wildlife such as great blue herons, ospreys, ducks, geese, beavers and bald eagles. Bring a lunch, plenty of beverages, and have a change of clothing in your car. Cameras and binoculars should be carried in waterproof containers. Kittatinny’s two campgrounds, River Beach Campsites in Milford, PA, and Kittatinny Campgrounds in Barryville, NY, will remain open through October. The games at Kittatinny Paintball will continue until the weather no longer permits, reservations are required.
