Jeff Snyder Named Chief Operating Officer

Kathleen E. Kuck, President and CEO of Pocono Health System/Pocono Medical Center is pleased to announce that Jeff Snyder, has joined the Pocono Health System family to serve as the Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Snyder possesses 25 years of experience in the health care industry including his most recent position as the Chief Executive Officer of Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, PA.
Prior to that role, he served as Chief Operating Officer at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Snyder received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Albright College in Reading, PA. He also has a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Widener University in Chester, PA.
Mr. Snyder also has held leadership roles in administration, hospital operations, strategic planning and business development, managed care, and financial planning at Saint Clare’s Health System in Denville, NJ, Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ, and Meridian Health System in Red Bank, NJ. “We are pleased to welcome Jeff to our leadership team,” said Kathleen E. Kuck, President and CEO of Pocono Health System/Pocono Medical Center. “Not only does he understand our commitment to providing world class care, close to home, he also has a proven track record of leadership and success in hospital operations.” Mr. Snyder is joining Pocono Health System at a time of growth with the opening of the new Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center, management of new physician practices and providers, and the development of new hospital-based services such as endocrinology.
