Local Event Planner launches eBook
JamesAngelo Campistrous, of Milford, owner of J-Angelo Event Planning will be launching his eBook entitled, “Wedding Guide & Tips – 1 Getting Started,” during the month of October.
J-Angelo will be at the Waterwheel Restaurant in Milford on Friday, October 5th from 8-10pm and then at the ARTERY on Sunday, October 28th from 1-4pm.
James stated that he wrote his current eBook, the first in a series of four, because he could not find a good resource to share with couples to guide them through the wedding process. Each book is his perspective of how the couple should approach a task, how to accomplish a task and tips as what to focus on. He stated, “My writing style is very informal. I write as if we are having a conversations and I am answering your questions. I give a host of information in a very relaxing way.”
J-Angelo’s weddings have graced the pages of bridal magazines such as The Knot and Manhattan Bride, as well as several wedding blogs.
In addition to his many private clients, J-Angelo has teamed up with the Ardmore Mansion at Mountain View where he and a honed team of local professional providing weddings that have earned this venue accolades from the prestigious Knot. Unique for this area, at the mansion, J-Angelo provides wedding planning from the onset of signing-on till the day of, keeping couples on-track and providing expert opinions and advice. On your wedding day, his company then provides Day-Of-Service coordination and anticipates your every need.
J-Angelo strives to utilize local service vendors and shops for many items he uses at his events. “I believe that Pike County has a lot of talent which allows me to provide an exceptional service with my events,” says James.
In addition to weddings, J-Angelo has created events in all the major venues in Pike County; the Fauchere, Dimmick Inn, Mt Haven Resort, Woodloch, Forest Hills and the Black Walnut Inn where he married his longtime partner of 15 years have been graced by J-Angelo’s touch. His company has provided pro bono tabletop and venue décor for groups such as the Pike Chamber of Commerce, The United Way, St. Patrick’s Church, Bon Secour and Centenary College.
You may have also seen or heard about his character “SUGAR” who has provided the community with appearances at local charity events to raise money. This past February, SUGAR hosted at the UDGLBT - Share Your Heart with the Community Dance to raise money for a local food bank.
