Brown to Host Business Financing Seminar

To help local businesses find the capital and support to keep their operations going or to assist someone wanting to start his or her own venture, Rep. Rosemanry M. Brown ( R-Monroe/Pike) will host a Business Financing Seminar on Friday, Oct. 12.
"Many local residents have greast ideas and plans for businesses they want to open or expand but are not sure where to go to find the financing and support they need to take their first steps, " Brown said. "This seminar will feature four experts in business financing and will be able to answer questions of participants about support for their businesses."
The seminar will feature presentations on business financing and support opportunities by:
* Scott Dunkleberger - Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development
* Chuch Leonard- Pocono Mountain Economic Development Corporation
* Thomas Pelligrini- Northeastern PA Alliance.
* Keith Yurgosky- University of Scrantons's Small Business Development Center
The seminar will begin at 9:30am in the second floor public meeting room of the Smithfield Township Building, located at 1155 Red Fox Road, East Stroudsburg.
