Friendship House to Expand Services by Opening New Center for Early Learning and Outpatient Services in Lake Wallenpaupack 2013!!

Friendship House is proud to announce the opening of a brand new facility for early learning in Lake Wallenpaupack. The center for early learning, named “Growing by Leaps and Bounds”, is a full day Pre- K program and Day Care Center for boys and girls, ages 3 months through 6 years. The program is expected to open and be ready to accept enrollments in early 2013!

The Friendship House center for early learning, Growing by Leaps and Bounds, features research-based education, and social, emotional, behavioral curricula, including Opening the World of Learning (OWL) and The Incredible Years.

Friendship House is partnering with Justin G. Hoffmann, P.E., of Kiley Associates, LLC, who designed the building and will oversee all construction aspects of the project. Justin developed the original concept, including plans and renderings, but was “looking to further the project with a partner who has a proven track record in child care”.

Outpatient Services will also be available on site. Connections: Child and Family Counseling Services provides a combination of services for children ages two to 21 and their families and features an evidence-based, positive parenting, live coaching program entitled “Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)”.
