Pike Autism Support Services (P.A.S.S.) has been supporting individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorders for the past 20 years.
We provide monthly parent support meetings where parents and caregivers can find information on services and supports as well as discuss the challenges of living with an ASD.
P.A.S.S. provides baby-sitting for these meetings at no –charge so that both parents can attend.
P.A.S.S. provides trainings on a variety of topics so that parents may become better advocates on their child’s behalf.
P.A.S.S. offers several “givebacks” throughout the year for families, such as The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Disney on Ice, a day at Costas’ Family Fun Park and a Pancake Breakfast with Santa.
P.A.S.S. is proud of their I-Care Campaign, putting I-pads in the hands of children and adults with ASD to use as a communication device.. to give them a voice.
We offer scholarships to individuals for activities such as the DV-ACE Adaptive Swim Program, G.A.I.T. Therapeutic Riding, Challenger Baseball, Social Skills Classes and Respite Care .
Throughout our 20 years , P.A.S.S. has been active in promoting Autism Awareness Month every April by hanging our signature blue ribbons on the trees of Milford. The support from our community outreach efforts to both the Delaware Valley and Wallenpaupack Area School Districts have resulted in acceptance and a better understanding of individuals with ASD .
