The Dime Bank Appoints New Community Reinvestment Act Officer
Paula A. Ralston Nenish, MBA, CIA, CRMA, vice president and compliance officer at The Dime Bank, was recently appointed community reinvestment act officer. Ms. Ralston Nenish, who joined The Dime Bank in May 2013, is responsible for the direction and oversight of the Bank’s compliance management system including developing the compliance plan which covers compliance administration, monitoring, training, board reporting, and complaint resolution. From a regulatory perspective, she monitors changes in industry regulations, performs research, communicates changes to personnel, and assists management in policy and procedure development to implement such changes. As community reinvestment act officer, she is responsible for ensuring proper adherence to the provisions of the Community Reinvestment Act so the goals of meeting the credit needs of the communities The Dime Bank serves, including low to moderate income neighborhoods, are met.
Gary C. Beilman, president and chief executive officer stated, "Paula is an extremely talented individual. In the currently complex and shifting regulatory environment of banking, she possesses an extensive knowledge base in financial policies and procedures. Paula has shown excellence in the field of compliance and is dedicated to the overall welfare of our area. The additional role of community reinvestment act officer seemed a natural fit, and is a nice complement to her current responsibilities."
