Delaware Valley Choral Society to Premier John Rutter’s Mass of the Children
The Delaware Valley Choral Society will be in concert on May 19 at 4:00 PM at the Delaware Valley High School Auditorium in a performance of works by John Rutter. The concert entitled “All Things Good” is dedicated to children of our community and will feature the regional premier of Rutter’s Mass of the Children scored for double choir (adult & children) and full symphony orchestra. Joining the Delaware Valley Choral Society will be a chorus of select elementary students directed by Brian Krauss of Dingman Delaware Elementary School as well as professional soloists Adista Wightman (soprano), Wayne Walters (baritone), and Denise Lozano (flute).
Tickets for “All Things Good” are $15 for adults and $10 for students and may be purchased prior to the concert date at Patina Antiques, 320 Broad Street and at Craft Show, 120 East Harford Street, both located in Milford. Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes prior to the concert. All seating will be open (no reserved seating) so it is recommended you come early if you wish to purchase tickets at the door.
The Delaware Valley Choral Society is a non-profit group dedicated to performing major choral works in their original form. The Society incorporates aspiring musicians from the area as well as professional musicians to bring major works of music to our community.
