An Educational Improvement Tax Credit informational breakfast


Key Note Speaker: Kim Staudt
Kim holds a MS in Accounting and a BS in Economics voth from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvanbia. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Kim bagan his career in 1976 with Coopers & Lyband. In 1998 Coopers & Lybrand merges with Princewaterhouse for form PrincewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), one of the world's largest professional services firms. He served Fortune 500 clients in the energy and utility sector fro over 30 years and, most recently , services as a cosulting partner in PwC's National independence Office. He is now retired. Kim is a member of Devereux's Pennsylvania Advisory board and the Chair of the EITC Committee.

The EITC program is an easy opportunity for your business to help educate the individuals of Devereux.

EITC is administerated by Pennsylvania's Department of Community & Economic Development, which authorizes the award of tax credits to businesses that contribute to qualified educational organizations such as Devereux. The Pennsylvania Tax Credit equals 75% of the contributinon for a one year commitment and 90% for a two year commitment, with a maximum of $400,000 of tax credits per fiscal year.

The simple one page application is due on July 1st. Devereux can help fill out the form and provide time stamped hand deliverty to the Departmetn of Community & Economic Development office in Harrisburg.
