Ecozone Discovery Room!
Saturday, March 1 – 1:00-4:00pm
$2 per person
Climb into a bald eagle’s nest, crawl into a bat cave, and dig in a fossil pit! Explore this indoor discovery room and enjoy hands-on exhibits on natural history, sustainability and the local environment. No registration required.

The “Easy Does It” Hikers
Sunday, March 2 – 10:00-11:30am
Free
Enjoy a nice leisurely walk through the woods. Join us for easy hikes, slow paces and interpretive natural history.

Volunteer in the Greenhouse
Sunday, March 2 – 10:30-12:00pm
Free
Join us for some gardening work in the PEEC’s new greenhouse! Lend a hand on our springtime projects and plant some seeds. Pre-registration encouraged.

Sugar Shack Scramble
Saturday, March 8 – 9:00am-12:30pm
$15 adult / $10 child
Take an orienteering expedition to the “Two Saps” Sugar Shack. Use a map and compass to reach the sugar shack and then enjoy hot cocoa and pancakes with fresh maple syrup! Sign up for a 9am or 9:30am start time. Spaces limited!

Amphibian Search
Sunday, March 9 – 1:00-3:00pm
$5 per person
Warming temperatures bring out the frogs & salamanders. Join us on our search! Wear boots & clothes that can get muddy.

Fossil Trail Hike
Saturday, March 15 – 1:00-3:30pm
Free for members / $5 for non-members
This 1 ¼ mile trail passes a vernal pool and descends into a mature hardwood ravine. Moderate with a final, steep climb.

Woodcock Walk
Saturday, March 15 – 6:30-8:00pm
$5
Join us for a walk to see the mysterious woodcock and its spectacular springtime mating display. Ages 10+ please.

Black & White Photography Tour
Sunday, March 16 – 9:00am-4:00pm
$20
Grab your camera and join us for a tour of the historic buildings in the Park. This is the perfect time of year to shoot black and white photos. Pack a lunch and dress warm. Call to reserve a seat in the van.

Wild Edibles Walk
Sunday, March 16 – 10:00am-12:00pm
$10
Nature provides food for us in the form of many plants. Join us on a hike focused on wild edibles. No collecting will be done within the Park. Call to reserve a seat in the van.

Boy Scout Badgefest
Saturday, March 22 – 9:00am-3:30pm
$12 half day / $20 full day
Attention all Wolves, Bears, Webelos, & Boyscouts! Join us for a fun day of badge work.

Join us for a fun, hands-on math program that includes games and outdoor activities. This program is recommended for 7th – 12th grade students. Call for details!

Little Eco Explorers: Chipmunks
Sunday, March 30 – 1:00-2:30pm
$5 per child
It’s a new program for 3-6 year olds! Join us for a story, craft, and activity focusing on a particular critter. Call for details.
