Safe Haven is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year.
We thought we would mark this significant milestone by adding a new fund-raising event: Safe Haven of Pike County's first Tennis Round Robin will be held in conjunction with our 13th Annual Golf Tournament.

Come one, come all to Pike County's first Tennis Round Robin Tennis Tournament. The event will take place at Lords Valley Country Club in Hemlock Farms. They have 10 superb clay courts. Another way of saying that is that we are limited to only 40 players. So, the event will be held on a first come, first serve basis, so register early to save your spot!

Our tennis committee has made our best attempt to reach out to all tennis players we know of in the area to invite them to our day of fun; however, we are sure we have missed players. Please forward this invitation to all your tennis buddies, or call Allison Taylor and give her contact info for your tennis friends at 570-828-7954. We are looking for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. We want this day to be a fun as possible.

The following items and more will be available
in either a silent auction or raffle:
1. 2 day/night mid-week stay at Total Tennis for one adult, which is the "Northeast's only year round tennis camp for adults".
This is valued at $335 to $425
depending on what time of year it is used.
2. One Wilson Racket donated by LVCC
valued at approximately $200.
3. One tennis lesson provided by
Steve Kent, Tennis Pro at LVCC, valued at $75.
4. One Tai Chi tennis lesson provided by Ken Baumel,
Milford's tennis guy, valued at $75

All proceeds from these events support Safe Haven's services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other serious crimes. During our last fiscal year, Safe Haven served 407 victims and provided 206 nights of much needed shelter. Your participation in this event directly benefits those victims, survivors and the work that Safe Haven does.
