Championship Rodeo At Malibu Ranch

The last Saturday in June is the beginning of rodeo season at the Malibu Dude Ranch! Championship Rodeo is held every Saturday through the Labor Day weekend. Opening ceremonies pay tribute to all branches of the service and our veterans.

Cowboys and cowgirls from across the U.S. compete in categories of bull riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, barrel racing and breakaway roping.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for ages 5 – 12, and age 4 and under are admitted free. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and rodeo begins at 7 p.m. rain or shine.

This rustic luxury ranch also offers all-inclusive rodeo weekend accommodation packages that includes meals and use of all amenities like horseback and ATV trail rides, indoor heated pool, rowboat and fishing on the lake, archery and shooting range, and more.

Malibu Ranch is a genuine western style horse ranch at 351 Foster Hill Road just a 3-mile drive from Harford Street (Route 6) in Milford. Take Seventh Street, which becomes Foster Hill Road and ends at the ranch. Visit for more details. Call 570-296-7281 or 1-800-8MALIBU.
