Pocono Health System/Pocono Medical Center Board of Directors Names Jeff Snyder President and CEO
Jeff Snyder has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Pocono Health System/Pocono Medical Center effective today. He has served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer since his appointment in April and prior to that served as senior vice president and chief operating officer.

Andrew Worthington, PHS/PMC Board chairman, said: “Jeff has a strong foundation of over 25 years of experience to support our continued growth and our work to provide the community with world class care, close to home. We are glad that he has accepted this appointment to continue to serve our community.”

Prior to coming to East Stroudsburg in 2012, he served as CEO of Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, PA, and COO of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Mr. Snyder holds a master’s degree in Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Widener University in Chester, PA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Albright College in Reading, PA. Mr. Snyder also has held leadership roles in administration, hospital operations, strategic planning and business development, managed care, and financial planning at Saint Clare’s Health System in Denville, New Jersey, Virtua Health in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and Meridian Health System in Red Bank, New Jersey.
