Celebrate Independence Day, Honor an American Hero all at “Vetstock”
On July 5th and 6th come and celebrate Independence Day in true American spirit, at
“Vetstock”, a two-day long extravaganza, of non-stop, good old, American fun, and help us raise money for
wounded American hero Marine Corporal David Noblit.
Join the American Legion Post 139 and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CMVA) at the
Malibu Dude Ranch on July 4th weekend for a ‘round the clock’ patriotic party. Veterans, residents, and
visitors are invited to come listen to a live music concert by the John Bayer Band; followed by an after
party featuring Side FX, a sanctioned Malibu rodeo with live American cowboys, DJ’s, a Vietnam era
Huey helicopter, which will be open for inspection, many military exhibitions, and a chance to win the rifle
raffle. More Vetstock events will be announced as the big weekend approaches.
All of the net proceeds raised at Vetstock will be donated to Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) to provide an
accessible home for Marine Corporal David Noblit, a wounded Afghanistan war veteran, his wife, and their
young son. Noblit, of Selinsgrove, Pa., lost both of his legs above the knees and suffered severe damage to
his left arm after an IED blast in Sangin, Afghanistan on October 21, 2010.
