UNITED WAY OF PIKE COUNTY RECEIVES PARTNERSHIP AWARD
The American Red Cross presented the Community Partnership Award to the United Way of Pike County. Joann Hudak, American Red Cross Chairman and Jim Reinhardt American Red Cross Executive Director presented Patrick Kiesendahl, UW President, Catherine Capasso, UW Executive Director and Matthew Osterberg, UW Board Member and Pike County Commissioner with the Community Partnership Award for their commitment to the American Red Cross and to the community.
“The United Way of Pike County has been a longtime supporter of the American Red Cross and most recently worked in conjunction with the Shell Oil Corporation to fund a series of Emergency Preparedness and Awareness Workshops for our youth and seniors. The most important thing is to be prepared if a disaster should arise and the American Red Cross is putting systems in place to make sure that the community is ready.
