Holiday Reception for Volunteers

Volunteers for the US Forest Service at Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford, PA, are thanked every year with a holiday reception at the mansion, with support from the Grey Towers Heritage Association (GTHA). GTHA President Fred Guendel expresses gratitude for the more than 2,000 hours donated by giving tours and providing visitor services, working in the gardens and various other tasks. He also thanked UGI Utilities for its donation to help support the reception. Also, this year the volunteers witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by Bill Dauer, Acting Director of Grey Towers, and President Fred Guendel, which formalizes the relationship between the two organizations and will assist in the already strong and productive partnership.
