HAWLEY, Pa. - Are you sending out press releases, but they are not being picked up by the media? Do you want to learn another way to promote your business, nonprofit organization or event? Would you like to improve upon your press release writing skills?
Join Tim Sohn, founder/CEO of Sohn Social Media Solutions, on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 6 to 7 p.m., Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance, 92 Main Ave., Hawley, to learn "5 Tips for Writing a Great Press Release."
“Press releases are still a great way to get the word out about your business, nonprofit or event. During the class, I’ll share tips on how to craft press releases so there is a high likelihood the media will pick them up,” said Sohn.
Sohn has worked as both a public relations/marketing professional as well as a journalist in editing and copy-editing roles and has made decisions about what content gets into newspaper/magazine/website media outlets. He knows what it takes to get picked up by the media.
This workshop is appropriate for anyone interested in learning how to write great press releases to promote their business, nonprofit organization or event.
