Its time again for Milford's Music in the Park summer concerts series fundraiser

Last year we absolutely rocked the park in Milford. From MiZ and Mike Lawlor Banned during the music festival to the kicking Marc von Em to close the season, the Music in the Park committee brought us some amazing musical talent. We had Regina Sayles, Abri, Heather Maloney, The Juicy Grapes – and even a little Irish Invasion supplied by The Parting Glass and the Tara Minstrels – to satisfy your thirst for great entertainment. And all for free.
How could we pull all this off, you might ask. Well, it was a lot of hard work, a wealth of great talent to choose from and a whole lot of incredible support – from the community, from the Borough, from goodhearted individuals who love music as much as we do, from musicians near and far, and from the generous businesses in the area. And it all started with a very well received and attended fundraiser in February of 2013.
So here we are again, about to kick off the 2014 season of Music in the Park with our February fundraiser, which will take place Friday February 21 at the Waterwheel cafe in Milford, PA..
This year the fundraiser will spotlight regional talent in the form of a venue of mucho talented performers. There will be the funny and entertaining Walt Edwards, the versatile Ernie Kara, the up and coming sweet tones of Amy Dewland, the always amazing Celeste Aldridge, the smooth sounds of Mr. Ken Fox, musician, teacher and all around talented musician Dan Engvaldsen, and the breakout artist of 2014 Don Lowe.
Tickets will be $10 (at the door). And there will be a raffle of music CDs to top off your night. The music begins at 7:30PM and goes until around 10:30PM. Come early, stay late, party and help us set the tone for the 2014 Music in the Park Summer Concert series. We won't know until after the fundraiser who will be performing this year, but good things are coming, we can tell you that.
If you want to grab a bite at the Waterwheel Cafe – or just want to make sure you have a table for the night – call them at 570-296-2383 for reservations.
