THE UPPER DELAWARE GLBT CENTER PRESENTS MILFORD HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR
The Upper Delaware GLBT Center, Inc. (UDGLBT) is pleased to announce two very special fundraising events to add to the festivities of the holiday season in the greater Milford area.
The premier event is the UDGLBTs inaugural Milford Holiday House Tour to be held on Saturday, December 10, from 3 to 7 pm. The tour is a “Behind Closed Doors” self-guided decoration tour of eight distinctive Milford homes. Co-chairs Peggy Emanuel, Michael Gillespie and Kris Jarmann have worked with homeowners who have graciously opened their doors to allow visitors to peek inside their homes and see how each interprets the holidays with their own unique style and flair. The tour begins at the UDGLBT Center located at 201 W. Harford St., Milford, where participants will pick up admission tickets and maps.

Tickets are $20 for adults in advance and $10 for those under 18. Advance purchases are available online by visiting www.udglbt.org. Tickets will be available the day of the event for $25 for adults.
Leading up to the House Tour is the Holiday Wreath Raffle. From now until December 9, eleven Milford area merchants are displaying holiday wreaths that have been made by the merchant or local artists and craftspeople. Each wreath, which has been donated, reflects the influences of the holidays and the artist who created it. Raffle tickets are available at each location displaying a wreath and can be used for a chance to win any of the wreaths.
Wreaths can be found at the following Milford locations: Ambience Furniture and Fine Gifts; Artisan Exchange; Denim or Lace; Dona Helene Salon; Ghiggeri’s Fine Olive Oils and Balsamics; Milford Craft Show; Naked Bagel; The Patisserie; The Village Farmhouse; Willow; and the Forklift Café in Dingmans Ferry. Additional artists include the Milford Garden Club, Reggie Cheong-Leen and the UDGLBT’s P3 Expressions Art Group. The wreath that has the most raffle tickets sold will earn the artisan the Community People’s Choice Award.
All the wreaths will be on display at the Upper Delaware GLBT Center on December 10 for one last chance to win your favorite wreath.
The day will culminate with the UDGLBT Holiday Party at 8pm at the Best Western in Matamoras. All are welcome.
