Milford Presents: a Logo Contest
Nestled between the foothills of the Pocono Mountains and the Delaware River, the historic town of Milford, PA is known throughout the tri-state region for its quaint charm, its interesting architecture and its people-friendly business district. It is also known for throwing one heck of a music festival.
The Board of Directors of the Milford Music Festival is proud to announce the formation of their affiliate organization, “Milford Presents." “Our goal is to bring awareness to the fabulous annual calendar of events that the Milford Music Festival and other community organizations are producing and to be a unifying presence for all of them ", says Amy Eisenberg, President of the Board.
In addition to the annual Milford Music Festival, the growing list of Milford Presents events includes Milford After Dark, Girls Night Out, Septemberfest, Share the Harvest, Toast To Milford and the Homegrown Festival.
Milford Presents is currently reaching out to the public; to anyone in our community who is interested in submitting a logo design. The winner's artwork will be used in all publicity related to Milford Presents and all rights will be reserved.
"We are putting a call out to all local artists, high school students, graphic artists, photographers, sketchers and anyone who would like to help us make a statement!", adds board member, David Wallace. "We will be accepting submissions via email at firstname.lastname@example.org until Friday, December 18th. Wallace adds, “Milford Presents was created to promote music, the arts, culture, sustainability and community spirit for the benefit of residents and tourist, alike. Milford Presents invites people to the places where these essential qualities of life are celebrated in public spaces, businesses and the great outdoors.”
All logo artwork submissions must be in jpeg format and include a black and white as well as a color version in order to be considered. The words, Milford Presents must be included in the logo and must be the only words used in the logo. Be sure to include your name, address and phone number with your submission.
