KINDRED SPIRITS ARTS PROGRAMS

CLASSICAL MUSIC CELEBRATION IN MILFORD, PA

Semi-spontaneous free event to highlight the beauty and everlasting value of classical music, as well as the outstanding features of our town.

Participants:

Brass Quintessence, Shanghai Strings,

Carla Auld and Elise Carter flute duo,

Tri-State Chorale and Montero-Fisher Duo, representing NYC, Hudson Valley, New Jersey and NE Pennsylvania. For exact times and locations please click on flyer (top right). For info about the artists click on next below. Watch out also for unadvertised street performances! An evening concert at the Milford Theatre at 7:30 pm will include a short work from each group followed by orchestral music of Mozart and Mendelssohn. Free event, donations are welcome.

Sunday, August 21 Hawley Silk Mill at 4:30 pm

Nuala Kennedy (flute, vocals) and Eamon O'Leary (guitar, bouzouki, vocals) will immerse you in an enchanting world of beautiful melodies, poetry and astonishing vocal harmonies

Tickets $20 at the door, at Books and Prints at Pear Alley (220 Broad Street) or on this website. There is no advance discount for tickets to Grey Towers and to Hawley Silk Mill concerts as both spaces have limited seating. Students and children under 15 admitted free.
