WMH’s Women Only Luncheon Symposium Notification Changes
For the first time, information and brochures about one of Wayne Memorial Hospital’s most popular events, the Women Only Luncheon Symposium, must be requested by phone or email. The Symposium takes place this year on Friday, April 29th at Woodloch Springs Country Club in Hawley.
“We usually fill up very quickly,” says Donna Decker, RN, manager WMH Community Health and event organizer, who explains the event maximum is 150 people each year. “And we find email is much faster and less expensive than the U.S. mail. For the past few years, we have been collecting emails and so far, it’s been working very well.”
This year’s keynote speaker is Carrie Demers, MD from PureRejuv at The Himalayan Institute, and her topic is “Strengthening Your Inherent Power to Heal.” Participants also choose three out of 11 workshops to attend before sitting down to a buffet lunch. Workshops this year range from heart disease prevention tips to Lyme disease information to a yoga session, a tea-tasting, “Medicine in Your Kitchen” and more.
The $45 fee covers the venue and the luncheon. For more information, visit www.wmh.org or call (570) 253-8990 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
