Pike County Teen and Family Resource Center
Pike County Teen and Family Resource Center is a community resource for Pike County adolescents and families. We offer programs at a variety of locations, as well as at the main building, the Milford Urgent Care building in Milford, Pennsylvania. Our mobile model works best while working with school, medical/mental health providers and community agencies committed to promoting healthy families. Services are provided free of charge courtesy of Atlantic Health System and through the generosity of the Pike County Health Fund.
Pike County Teen and Family Resource Center currently offers these services and programs:
Botvin LifeSkills® Training Program
Botvin LifeSkills® Training is a proven, evidence-based prevention program for teens (middle and high school students) and their parents. The program is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, the American Medical Association and the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention.
This is a four-part educational program for caregivers of someone experiencing memory loss.
More Than Sad
A one-session program for teens that teaches the signs and symptoms of depression, encourages teens to seek help from a trusted adult and demystifies depression treatment.
Assess Your Stress- Assessment provided along with tools and techniques for relieving stress
Linkage and Monitoring of Services, Advocacy, and Supportive Contact
Contact a professional to ask questions regarding a broad range of family issues related mental health, caretaker, prevention of alcohol and substance abuse, and other related family issues. Please call 570-409-8484 ext.501 for a professional to answer questions regarding your needs and assist with gaining access to supportive services. Service hours are Mon-Fri 8:30AM-4:30PM and evening hours available upon request. All calls are confidential and will be returned in a timely fashion.
