PCCC Hosts Breakfast with New CEO/President of Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau

Posted on May 22nd, 2017
On Thursday May, 18th The Pike County Chamber of Commerce held its monthly breakfast seminar at Jorgenson's at the Dimmick Inn with our Guest Speaker being New CEO/President Chris Barrett from the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau. The Pike County Chamber of Commerce reached out to Mr. Barrett and asked him to speak at their breakfast as the Chamber knew tourist season was approaching and we wanted to make sure that we educated our members in time for the season.

In addition to speaking about the upcoming tourist season, we found it important to introduce Mr. Barrett to the Pike County business community since he is new to the PMVB. In attendance were approximately 35 people who enjoyed listening to Mr. Barrett speak about tourism and the benefit of PMVB’s mission of marketing the Pocono’s. The Pike County Chamber of Commerce was excited to have Mr. Barrett as their speaker as it helped us gear up for the upcoming tourist season. "President of PCCC Jody Welsh thanked all of the business community for coming out to the monthly breakfast seminar and also thanked the community for welcoming Mr. Barrett to the PMVB. We are excited to see what Mr. Barrett will bring to Pike County this tourist season." As a reminder, the PCCC is a visitor’s center for Pike County tourists; in our office we have a large display of brochures and materials for the tourists when they come into town. If you have any questions about the PCCC visitor’s center – please call us at 570-296-8700 or visit www.pikechamber.com.
